Brasil vê tensões comerciais piorando antes de melhorarem

A secretária de Comércio Exterior do Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços alertou, nesta quinta-feira (27), que as tensões comerciais globais provocadas pelas tarifas impostas pelo presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, provavelmente irão piorar antes de melhorar.

“Não precisávamos acordar com o que aconteceu na noite de ontem”, disse Tatiana Prazeres sobre a decisão de Trump, na quarta-feira (26), de impor uma tarifa de 25% sobre todos os carros e caminhões e peças importantes, como motores e transmissões, importados pelos Estados Unidos.

“O comércio está sendo transformado em uma arma”, acrescentou.

“Não sabemos aonde isso vai nos levar”, dizendo também: “Acho que pode piorar antes de melhorar.”

Prazeres disse que o Brasil está buscando construir novas “coalizões” comerciais e acordos comerciais baseados em regras com países que estivessem dispostos a fazê-lo.

“Estamos buscando expandir nossa rede de relações comerciais”, disse ela.
