Receita trabalha na criação de divisão exclusiva para grandes contribuintes

O secretário da Receita Federal, Otacílio Cartaxo, está hoje (5) em São Paulo, para trabalhar na criação da Divisão de Acompanhamento dos Maiores Contribuintes. A nova unidade da Receita terá inicialmente escritórios em São Paulo e no Rio de Janeiro, estados responsáveis pela maior arrecadação do governo federal.

 

A portaria de criação da nova unidade da Receita Federal e altera o Regimento Interno da Receita foi publicada ontem no Diário Oficial da União.

Em 2009, a Receita Federal notificou 474.813 contribuintes, pessoas físicas e jurídicas. Os créditos por conta das irregularidades no recolhimento dos impostos passaram de R$ 90,3 bilhões. No ano anterior, esse valor foi de R$ 75,2 bilhões.

Dos créditos tributários lançados no ano passado, R$ 55,4 bilhões correspondem à arrecadação de grandes contribuintes, contra R$ 45,3 bilhões do ano anterior. O total relativo a pessoas físicas foi de R$ 5,2 bilhões, contra R$ 6,9 bilhões em 2008.
