Mais de 70% dos contribuintes ainda não entregaram declaração do Imposto de Renda

O número representa 29,6% dos 25 milhões de declarações estimadas para este ano.

A 21 dias do fim do prazo de entrega da declaração do Imposto de Renda da Pessoa Física (IRPF) 2012, ano-base 2011, 70,4% dos contribuintes ainda não enviaram o documento. De acordo com o último balanço divulgado pela Receita Federal, 7.404.395 declarações foram recebidas até as 16h de hoje (9). O número representa 29,6% dos 25 milhões de declarações estimadas para este ano.

O prazo para entrega do IRPF 2012 começou em 1º de março e termina em 30 de abril. O contribuinte que não entregar a declaração no prazo terá de pagar multa de R$ 165,74 ou 20% do imposto devido, prevalecendo o maior valor.

O programa gerador do documento está disponível na página da Receita Federal na internet. No mesmo endereço, o contribuinte pode baixar o programa Receitanet, necessário para transmitir a declaração ao Fisco.
