Câmara aprova MP que isenta importadores de álcool de PIS/Pasep e Cofins

A Câmara dos Deputados aprovou nessa quarta-feira (21) a Medida Provisória 634/13, o texto que originalmente isenta os importadores de álcool do pagamento do PIS/Pasep-importação e da Cofins-importação e trata de outros temas tributários. O texto, que vence no dia 2 de junho, segue agora para o Senado. A votação faz parte de um esforço da Câmara para evitar que a pauta da Casa seja trancada pela medida.

A MP também previa a prorrogação por mais dez anos das isenções tributárias das áreas de livre comércio de Tabatinga (AM), de Boa Vista (RR) e de Bonfim (RR), a primeira até 2024 e as outras até 2026, e a possibilidade de as operadoras de planos de saúde excluírem da base de cálculo do PIS/Pasep e da Cofins os valores devidos a outras operadoras. Os artigos foram rejeitados pelo plenário.

Os parlamentares rejeitaram também as emendas dos deputados Alfredo Kaefer (PSDB-PR) e  Antonio Carlos Mendes Thame (PSDB-SP). A primeira pretendia prorrogar programa de restituição de resíduos tributários federais às empresas até dezembro de 2017. A segunda queria enquadrar empresas que usam resíduos sólidos como matéria-prima na desoneração da folha de pagamentos, com alíquota de 1% sobre a receita bruta.
