Projeto reduz tributos para escolas comprarem detectores de metais

Conforme a proposta, redução valerá para quatro tributos: PIS, Cofins, IPI e Imposto de Importação

O Projeto de Lei 2892/23 reduz a zero as alíquotas de alguns tributos (PIS, Cofins, IPI e Imposto de Importação) na compra de detectores de metais por instituições de ensino, religiosas e hospitalares. O texto está em análise na Câmara dos Deputados.

O autor da proposta, deputado Dr. Fernando Máximo (União-RO), afirma que os ataques às escolas, "trágicos e preocupantes eventos ocorridos em diferentes partes do mundo, passaram a atormentar os brasileiros".

Como resposta a esses eventos, muitos países têm implementado medidas de segurança nas escolas, como sistemas de vigilância, treinamento de pessoal e controle de acesso.

“A desoneração pretende incentivar o uso desses detectores de metais em determinadas áreas ou setores dessas instituições, para promover a segurança”, argumenta Máximo.

Tramitação
O projeto tramita em caráter conclusivo e será analisado pelas comissões de Finanças e Tributação; e de Constituição e Justiça e de Cidadania.
